Environmental Protection Agency Environmental Protection Agency - OPP
The AFPMB serves on the Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP) Pesticide Program Dialogue Committee (PPDC) Pollinator Protection Workgroup and its Public Health Work Group (PHWG).  The PPDC and PHWG provide formal and informal feedback to the EPA on various pesticide regulatory, policy and implementation issues.  The EPA also has an assigned liaison which coordinates issues with the DOD and attends all AFPMB Board meetings.
 
USDA - Agriculture Research Service United States Department of Agriculture - Agriculture Research Service
The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service (USDA ARS) has a long history of working with the U.S. military to protect military personnel from arthropod-borne diseases.  The Deployed Warfighter Protection Program (DWFP), is enhancing this mutually beneficial relationship by providing direct support to the USDA ARS Program 104, headquartered in Beltsville MD.  Current efforts involve multiple USDA ARS labs and other collaborators working to develop and evaluate pesticides, repellents and application technologies. 
 
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
The AFPMB is partnered with the CDC's Divisions of Vector-Borne Diseases (Fort Collins, CO) and Parasitic Diseases (Atlanta, GA).  A significant collaboration is in the role of serving as the Department of Defense representative for the Public Health Pesticides Consortium (PHPC), whose mission is to ensure the availability of effective and safe public health pesticides.  Other collaborations include providing active liaison between both agencies in the area of vector-borne disease prevention and control activities and providing additional assistance in CDC's efforts of supporting the President's Malaria Initiative.
 

President's Malaria Initiative
The AFPMB provides direct assistance to the President's Malaria Initiative (PMI) at USAID Headquarters, Washington, DC.  Current efforts are focused on entomological monitoring as it relates to insecticide resistance and pesticide management as well as providing consultation and advice to individual partner countries supported by PMI.  
 
The IR-4 Project IR-4 Program
In 2008, agreements between DWFP, ARS and IR-4 led to the formation of the IR-4 Public Health Pesticide Program, which expands the traditional mission of IR-4 to include the facilitation of the development and registration on minor use public health pesticides.
 
Innovative Vector Control Consortium Innovative Vector Control Consortium
The AFPMB is a stakeholder in the Innovative Vector Control Consortium (IVCC), a not for profit product development partnership focused on development and delivery of public health pesticides. 
 
World Health Organization World Health Organization
The AFPMB is an official stakeholder in the WHO’s Integrated Vector Management (IVM) program and an invited participant in the bi-annual Global Collaboration for Development of Pesticides for Public Health (GCDPP), a partnership designed to strengthen WHO Pesticide Evaluation Scheme activities.
