Research Division

Mission:

Comprised of the Research Liaison Officer (RLO) and the Deployed War-Fighter Protection Program (DWFP) Technical Advisor, the Research Division’s mission is to advocate for pest management and vector control research of interest to the Department of Defense (DoD).  The RLO coordinates, prioritizes and identifies research needs and opportunities within DoD, other Federal agencies, universities, private industry and other organizations around the world.

Information Services Division

Mission:

The Information Services Division collects, stores, and disseminates information on animals and plants that impact the Department of Defense mission.  Information is concentrated on disease carriers such as mosquitoes, sand flies, ticks, and fleas, since these have been most important.
